We then went on a walk to grandma's house. She told us that we could use her mail box since our mail man had already come for the day. :)
We also used some of Kyle's Thomas the Train stickers as stamps.
After putting our letters in the mailbox, Kyle made sure to put the flag up so that grandma's mail man would be sure to see the letters! We then walked home to have lunch.
Last night we heard a knock on our door! We tried to get there quickly, but we just weren't fast enough. When we did get to the door I told the kids to open it.
There was no one there darn it, butthey each found a small container of candy, a Christmas puzzle, and a letter adressed to them.
The kids were so excited to have these little gifts from Santa!
Kimber, who had just picked up Slade, was still outside putting Slade in her car. She told us that we had just missed it! Santa was at our front door! He put the presents down, knocked, then jumped in his seeigh, and flew away before we even opened the door!
After eating some candy, and playing with the new puzzles for a few minutes, we headed to see Santa in person for family night!
When it was ouu turn to see Santa Kenzie went RUNNING up to him, and Santa started chuckleing and said "Hey Baby!" The kids LOVED Santa! I know this picture dosen't show it, but they really did! :)
After seeing Santa we walked around Bass Pro, took pictures, and did some if the diferent activities that there were to do there!
All too soon it was time to go home. So we piled in the car, and Kenzie said this: "Santa haveses a sleigh, and he is a big big boy!" She says the funniest things sometimes. :)
