MATH AT SNACK TIME!

A couple of days ago, I cut an apple up so that Kyle could eat it for a snack.  I then walked back in to the kitchen to finish the dishes, and pretty soon I heard "Mom, I made four!"  So I walked back over to the table, and found that he really had made a four with his apples! 

Aaron hurried to get the camera, and while he was doing that, Kyle decided to make a "one" with his extra apples. 

I have been trying forever to get this kid to try to write letters and numbers, but he just won't do it! 

I guess a crayon and paper won't work, but I might have to invest in a lot of apples! :)
