COLORING THE EASTER EGGS!!!

I had been dreading the idea of dyeing Easter eggs because we have carpet under our kitchen table, and we have carpet on our balcony, so there is no really safe place for 2 energetic kids to drop eggs into cups of permanent dye.

So, I was very happy when my little sister offered a suggestion. She offered to let us come over, and dye Easter eggs at her house where the balcony's are cement.

So last night at about 6:00 we headed to Aunt Kimber's house, and when we got there she was just putting a batch of chocolate chip cookies into the oven! The cookies were very yummy!

Then we all headed out to the balcony outside the living room (with the esception of Uncle David who doesn't care much for dyeing Easter eggs.)
The bigest job was trying to keep the kids from spilling the cups of dye!
Mackenzie & Aunt Kimber! Kenzie LOVES Aunt Kimber! Later on when we were going home, she kept saying goodbye to Kimber over, and over again until we actually got home.
Mommy & Kenzie coloring a yellow egg.
Daddy and Kyle dyeing a few eggs!
Uncle David & Aunt Kimber. David eventually came outside long enough to color one egg :)
Kyle's favorite one was his GREEN egg!
Kenzie got very tired, but she loved to look at the Easter eggs!
The finished product! We started with 12, but Kenzie accidental grabbed one and squished it just before we left out house with them.
Kenzie had lots of fun peeking through the glass door in the living room at us.
We headed home soon after finishing because the kids were very tired! We had lots of fun, and only colored a small part of Kimber's balcony green. :)
THANK YOU KIMBER FOR LETTING US COME OVER AND COLOR EASTER EGGS WITH YOU!!!
