COOKING WITH kIDS

The other day the kids were getting pretty rowdy. So after many attempts to calm them down which all failed miserably I might add, I decided that I needed some chocolate.

We just so happened to have all the ingredients that I needed to make a chocolate cake, so I got them all out, put Kenzie in her high chair, and put Kyle in the chair next to me at the kitchen table.

We had so much fun making the cake together. The kids loved helping me stir, and their favorite part was getting to help me lick the bowl!

It was super yummy! And although the kids had even more energy from all the sugar, it was so worth it!!!
